Mine was single parenting. Two daughters. A life I thought I knew, dismantled completely. I wasn't just holding them together, I was trying to hold myself together at the same time, and for a long time I wasn't doing either very well.
Nobody tells you that the hardest part isn't the logistics. It's the moment you look in the mirror and don't recognise the woman looking back.
That was the threshold that remade me.
The shift didn't come from a program or a course or someone else's framework. It came the morning I decided to show up for myself. Just that one morning. Then the next. Then the next.
One day at a time. That's not a tagline. That's how I actually got through it.
And somewhere in those mornings, I found my way back.

I spent 15 years as a businesswoman. I built a bookkeeping practice from nothing, I know what that costs, the early mornings, the relentless output, the version of success that looks right on paper and feels hollow in your chest.
I was good at hustle. I just didn't know yet that hustle was keeping me from myself.
The move from hustle chaos to steady flow wasn't something I planned. It was something I surrendered to. And that surrender changed everything, how I work, how I live, how I show up for my daughters, and for every woman I hold.

I volunteer as a birth doula with Birth for Humankind, a not for profit supporting families through their most complex birth stories.
I don't do it for credentials. I do it because I believe, genuinely believe, that every woman deserves someone completely present for her in her most undone moments. Not managing her. Not directing her. Just there. Fully. Without flinching.
That's what I bring into every space I hold.
